Fall Auditions
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
Auditions for the beloved Christmas play The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson are happening August 9th and 10th. Actors 8 through seniors in high school can audition. Show dates are December 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 10th. We will be running two casts, one which will rehearse after school hours. If cast, there will be a production fee.
Characters include: the Bradley family, your average easy going church attending family; the Herdmans, a family of bullies who come to terrorize and take charge of the local church Christmas Pageant; Sunday school kids who reluctantly participate in the Pageant and try to stay out of trouble once the Herdmans come; church ladies who are focused on the wrong things and more. There are lots of fun parts for actors to explore!

My time with Players of the Stage has been such a wonderful, life changing experience. I first joined POTS because I was fairly new to the area. I had a few friends, but everyone was talking about POTS. So, I auditioned for Wind in the Willows, got in, and started on the most important journey of my life. Being involved in theatre here has changed me as a person in so many ways. To think back on the shy, awkward, kid I was, it’s insane how much I’ve grown and how much confidence I’ve gained! I’ve made so many friends and wonderful memories here I will always treasure my time here. I’m going to be attending Kutztown University for Art education this fall and I couldn’t have gotten here without Players of the Stage! As I move into this new chapter of my life, I’d like to thank the staff and directors for all their influence on my life, and wish POTS all the best in the years to come.
