2014 has been a great year for POTS. We performed our first Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream, we performed our second modern play, Twelve Angry Jurors, and performed three productions as benefit shows. Through the generosity of our audiences and the grace of God, we raised over $25,000. This money went entirely to benefit the Allentown Rescue Mission, Care Net, and Truth for Women.
We made costumes for two new eras, Grecian and Tudor, designed and constructed by our hard working staff and mothers. Some of our fabulous fathers constructed us a convertible throne. Most importantly, we exposed many kids to the power of theater and had the privilege of watching them overcome nerves and self consciousness as they performed for our audiences.
Looking ahead to 2015, we have two camps in the spring, four summer camps, and A Christmas Carol planned for December. This fall will mark our fifteenth anniversary. It's amazing to think about what God has done with us over the years, and we eagerly await to see what He will do through us in the next fifteen years.
Happy New Year!
